by William Kampf, Neighborhood Steering Committee President

Have you ever thought, “Hey, I have good ideas? Why won’t anyone listen to me?” Maybe you were taking a stroll around the beautiful Eastside Hill, perhaps walking your dog, and you came up with a magnificent idea that would help make our great neighborhood even better! Now is your chance to have your ideas heard by people who have tons of power (well, maybe just a few ounces). The Eastside Hill Steering Committee has an opening for an enthusiastic, bright, dedicated, charming, elegant, magnificent person who wants to contribute just a small fraction of their time to making our neighborhood THE place to live in Eau Claire. If you even remotely match this description, please attend the next steering committee meeting on Thursday, June 10th at 6:30pm at the Boyd Park Pavilion.

If multiple people are interested, a steering committee vote will be used to appoint the new member. This open position will be filling the final three months of a two-year term. The appointed member would need to run again during the fall neighborhood wide meeting, along with the other committee members whose term is expiring. Feel free to email me for more information: president@eastsidehill.com
