Annual Neighborhood Picnic » August 7
OK, people, this is coming up fast, so grab your giant (red) permanent markers and circle the date on your calendars about six hundred times! The big neighborhood picnic is on Saturday, August 7 – less than two weeks away. It’s been a few years since we’ve been able to actually have the annual summer picnic, so let’s make this as triumphant a return as possible. Here are the details:
When: Saturday, August 7, 3:00–5:30pm
Where: Boyd Park on Main Street (map)
Free food: Brats, hot dogs, tofu dogs, beans, chips, cookies, pickles, sauerkraut, and lemonade.
Read more here. This is a great chance to hang out with your friends and family for the afternoon, rekindle old friendships, and meet new people. And eat! Also, it’d be great if you could bring any lawn games you’re willing to share with your neighbors for the afternoon.
A special thanks goes out to Hahn’s Market which has graciously donated all of the picnic supplies we’ll need!
