For a Greener Hill: 6 Items

I recently came across this article describing the challenges and rewards of owning only 6 items of clothing.

This made me realize that not knowing what to wear does not mean I need more clothes: it means I have too many. So I decided to go through my closet and give away the items that I hardly ever wore. Then I went to a second-hand clothing store and bought a few tops in solid colors because those are easier to match with pants. I also got a pair of neutral pants. Now, all my clothes – winter and summer – fit in my closet. I can see exactly what I own and can make better choices for the weather and occasions. Since I made that change, I no longer stand in front of my closet wondering what to wear, and I feel better about actually using all the clothes that I own.

And it’s hard to take a decent photo of a closet… Sorry! You can tell I have way more than 6 items, and I also have sweaters that are not shown here, but this is pretty much everything.
