Having Faith in Our Neighborhood Association

Each year the Mission and Outreach Committee of Spirit Lutheran Church designates funds for local and international mission work. This spring that Committee gifted our Association with $250 as their recognition of Eastside Hill Neighborhood Association as a service provider while “simultaneously taking action to bring the brothers and sisters in the community together”, this from Jennifer Krueger who participated in this designation. We greatly value this tangible show of support.

Our Association has a long history of gifts from Spirit Lutheran, formerly known to us as Our Saviors Luther Church: for years they have hosted our two Neighborhood meetings each year, have joined us on projects like improving out Prairie, and are “there for us” when needed. We acknowledge their creativity in building community within their walls and beyond that in our Neighborhood.

It is sweet to be acknowledged; it is sweet to be supported. Thank you Spirit!
