ID Neighborhood Projects and Then Find Volunteers

Submitted by Editor on August 8, 2018 – 12:07 pm | Print or Email »No Comment

With the Fall Semester soon starting at UW-EC we have the opportunity to tap into their Service Learning program that requires each student to volunteer for 30 hours on a project in the community as part of their graduation requirement.

Also, our local Scouting program is always looking for projects for their Eagle Scout experience.

With our newly established non-profit status it is easier to request such help. If you have ideas for Neighborhood projects that could use the above volunteers and want to help make it happen, contact our Neighborhood Association through our web site, eastsidehill.com.  –submitted by Mark Ruddy
