Member Resignation: Erin Klaus – many other commitments, will continue to help EHNA and BP+ where she can.
New Steering Committee Member: Bob Carr rejoins the committee. Motion and unanimous approval vote.
Police Report: Officer Pieper, indicates no issues.
Boyd Park Update: (CB)
- City continues to stall on MOU
- Ayres working on winter scene, may be able to offer some grant help pro-bono
Yard Signs and Printables: (TW)
- 10 signs, size18” x 24”
- 5 signs informative, 5 signs graphic
- Sponsoring businesses recognized with logo
- Sponsors $80 to $100 each
- Photos/posters for warming houses at Boyd Park
- Banner for fence along Main Street
- Duration of use will be “seasonal”
Regis Parking: (CR)
No further movement. City continues to be unresponsive. Chad’s attempts to contact city engineer ignored until last minute and after involving Jeremy from the City Council.
Speed signs on Margaret: (CR)
Many issues with software. They are not yet set up correctly. Flashing when shouldn’t, wrong speed, etc.
Seven Bumps Sledding Hill:
- No commitment from Steve Plaza
- Motion – asking City to commit to keep Seven bumps open for recreation and off-limits to burial. Motion passed unanimously.
Birdscaping Residential Issue:
A local resident is being fined for having ~30 feeders and half a dozen Christmas trees which he says he is doing to support the birds and wildlife. Neighbors complain it’s a nuisance
